# 1946 Resolution - that every American buy and hold U.S. Savings Bonds

Treasury bond poster: a parchment scroll in blackletter lettering, over a background of reproduced U.S. Savings Bonds, reads '1946 Resolution - that every American buy and hold U.S. Savings Bonds'. The tell is the bandwagon wording ('every American') and the New Year resolution frame, which presents bond-holding as a shared custom.
