# 9th National Convention, Philippine Veterans Legion: Unity for Progress (English poster distributed in the Philippines)

A convention poster for the Philippine Veterans Legion shows a uniformed man and a farmer in a salakot hat raising a flag together, with a factory, a thatched house, a water buffalo and bundled grain behind them. The tell is transfer: the pose of a soldier and a worker raising one flag attaches the prestige of military service to the slogan 'Unity for Progress'.
