# Abraham Lincoln, Man of the People poster 148 (English poster distributed in Manila)

A large yellow English-language sheet for the 150th anniversary of Lincoln's birth. Pencil sketches of his early life and career run across the top, the seated Lincoln Memorial statue stands at right, and a photographed group of Asian children looks up at it. A Lincoln quotation on slavery and mastery and a claim that his words remain valid are printed at left. The tell is testimonial and transfer: Lincoln's words and the memorial are attached to democracy and to the young viewers.
