# Coalition leaflet: 'Friendship' handshake between America and Afghanistan (Afghanistan, 2001)

Two clasped hands between a US-flag map and a flag-coloured map of Afghanistan, with a smiling American family at left and an Afghan family at right; the headline is 'Friendship'. Per the file page the back says no one should tell Afghans how to live and that a 'Partnership of Nations' will rescue them from 'Taliban criminals and foreign terrorists'. The tell is warmth carried by symbols and one virtue word.
