# Coalition leaflet "Your children are waiting for you" (Afghanistan, c. 2006-2007)

Two-sided leaflet for Afghan fighters. The front carries the name of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan; the back reads, in the description's translation, 'Your children are waiting for you. For peace, stability and a bright future.' The tell is the appeal to family in place of any argument about the fighter's cause: it asks for a change of side through feeling and says nothing of the terms or consequences.
