ALLIES FOR WORLD PEACE

The world's Free Nations can present a more united front against aggressors if their armies are trained and equipped alike. Such is the aim of a training program in which soldiers of most of the Free Nations are participating with men of the United States Army at the Infantry Training Center, Fort Benning, Georgia. There, picked soldiers of the Free Nations learn to use the same weapons and the same battle tactics for better common defense. Returning to their countries, they will impart these teachings to the other members of their own armies.

Actual practice with all weapons, studies of military operations are part of the plan to prevent attacks by warlike nations and insure world peace.

They see combat problems worked out by troops and weapons in the field, participate in others themselves.

Soldiers of 23 nations are at present studying at Fort Benning.

Working as a team, men of several nations gather and figure data to place accurate 81-mm. mortar fire on a combat target.
