# Another Vietcong Crime in Dinh-Tuong

An amber-headed sheet with a 1965 calendar for September to November (Lunar year Ất-Tỵ) presents photographs and dated captions of Viet Cong actions in Dinh Tuong and neighbouring districts: a bridge blown up on the night of 24 July 1965, a burned body, two killed men, villagers repairing a road and a hamlet meeting at which an official denounces the killings. The headline calls these 'crimes' of the Viet Cong. The tell is the pairing of graphic casualty photographs with a practical calendar, so the accusation sits in the household for the rest of the year; the sheet shows only Viet Cong acts.
