# Army Navy E for excellence in production, Let's keep it flying

Production-award poster: a large red and blue Army-Navy E pennant with a laurel wreath flies above a naval officer, a factory worker hauling the halyard and an army officer saluting. A white shield explains the award as the highest honor given to industry. The tell is transfer: the prestige of the flag and the two services is attached to workers and plants, under the slogan 'Let's keep it flying'.
