# Azad Hind, English edition, front page (Syonan/Singapore, 22 February 1945)

Front page of the English Azad Hind, 22 February 1945. The Iwo Jima item 'Enemy Casualties Steadily Mounting In Iwoojima War' gives only Domei's Japanese-side account, the left-hand column calls American confidence 'foolish', and the Udam Singh report speaks of 'British tyrants in India', a label standing in for argument, beside a portrait of the Azad Hind Fauj's chief of staff.
