CONCRETE PROOF
AT VUNG RO

On 16-2-1965 the Air Force of the Republic of Vietnam detected and sank an iron-hulled Viet Cong ship, loaded with weapons camouflaged with leaves, at Vung Ro on the coast of Central Vietnam. Afterwards, infantry of II Corps, together with the Navy and Special Forces, launched a search operation in this area. The result: nearly one hundred tonnes of weapons, ammunition, medicines and many other supplies, made and produced by the Communist bloc, were found buried in secret caches.

This event has plainly proved the plot of North Vietnam to infiltrate cadres and weapons on a large scale into the South, to supply, provide for and sustain the Communist band sabotaging the Republic of Vietnam.
