# Be Wise Save Your Eyes, Sight-Saving Week poster (English poster distributed in Manila)

A public-health poster in stylised grey, yellow and blue. An owl sits between the words 'Be wise' and a large 'Save your eyes', with a black cat with green eyes beside a panel announcing Sight-Saving Week, 1-7 August 1956, and advice to get a free eye-check at the nearest hospital or clinic. The poster makes no political argument. The tell is plain-folks, only weakly: friendly animal figures and a simple rhyme carry an everyday health message.
