# 1956...Another command decision

A seated man at a desk, hands clasped at his mouth, looks at a newspaper reading 'Doctors give O.K. on Eisenhower running again -- it is now up to him!' while four thought clouds above him read 'Invasion of Europe ('44)', 'To run or not to run ('52)', 'Nixon "Fund" charges ('52)' and 'Meeting "At the Summit" ('55)'. The cartoon frames a possible second-term run as the latest in a series of presidential decisions; the tell is selective framing (card-stacking), a weak fit since it lists decisions without arguing for either outcome.
