# Go to it, boy... It's all yours (radiogram to Chiang)

A tearful Chiang, in uniform and holding a handkerchief, stands on a small island labelled 'Formosa' facing a large landmass labelled 'Red China'. At his feet is a 'Radiogram, Washington, D.C.' reading 'Go to it, boy.. It's all yours.. Eisenhower'. The tell, a weak fit for card-stacking, is a one-sided staging: an invented message is used to frame the policy as an empty permission.
