# Now I'm Out in Front

A man labelled Dulles, in a turban and holding an elephant goad, rides a drooping elephant labelled GOP Foreign Policy, which faces away from the viewer; a man labelled Knowland, also turbaned, holds a paint brush and a can of paint and has painted a pair of eyes on the elephant's rear. The tell is ridicule of a party's position by caricature: the cartoon argues that the policy is facing backwards and that its front is a repainted back.
