# Strike

A black bowling ball labelled MILITARY COUP scatters pins labelled GUATEMALA, ARGENTINA, PERU, ECUADOR, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC and HONDURAS, while pins labelled EL SALVADOR, VENEZUELA, COSTA RICA and COLOMBIA still stand. The cartoon argues that military takeovers are spreading across Latin America; the tell is fear-appeal, through the bowling image of toppled states and those still standing.
