# "That's one Korean problem I can solve!"

A cigar-smoking man in a battered hat and waistcoat, his coat labelled 'J.Q. Public' over his arm, rolls down his sleeve on the steps of a door marked 'Blood Donor Center' with a red cross, beside a bulletin reading 'Critical shortage of whole blood for wounded U.N. fighting men!' He says: 'That's one Korean problem I can solve!' The technique tell is plain-folks: an everyman figure (J.Q. Public) models the desired action of giving blood.
