# To Peiping...In the Spirit of the Season

An airliner marked "UN MISSION" flies above clouds and sea toward a bright star in the upper left sky. The caption points the plane toward Peiping (Beijing) at Christmas. The tell is transfer: the Christmas-star motif lends the mission the sanctity of the season; this is a weak-to-moderate fit, as the picture is sympathetic and carries no explicit argument.
