# "Some Account of some of the Bloody Deeds of General Jackson" coffin handbill (1828)

Broadside headed "Some Account of some of the Bloody Deeds of General Jackson": six black coffin woodcuts, each labelled with the name of an executed militiaman, run above dense columns of narrative, with more coffins, a woodcut of Jackson striking a man, and a statement signed by Thomas Hart Benton. The loaded title and the list built only from killings charged against Jackson are the tells.
