# Proof for a flag campaign banner for John C. Breckinridge and Joseph Lane (H. C. Howard, 1860)

Paper proof of a campaign flag: a 33-star American flag pattern printed in reverse, with a vertical overprinted line describing the full banner as carrying a portrait of Breckinridge and the names of the ticket. The visible object has no portrait. Tell for transfer: the national flag is the vehicle for one party ticket.
