# Back the Boys with War Savings: Save at Least a Bob in the Pound Every Pay Day (bomb loading)

A photograph of ground crew loading bombs beneath a four-engined bomber sits above a cartoon coin figure (a 1944 shilling) wheeling a bomb. The 'Bob' pun and the headline link a shilling in the pound to the men at the front; the ordinary workers and cheerful coin carry the plain-folks appeal, and the bomber photograph transfers the crews' standing to the savings request.
