# We Hit the Axis - Worth Working For!

A photograph shows an RAF twin-engined bomber banking over a sea where an enemy transport burns, captioned 'The end of an enemy transport destroyed by the RAF'. A blank panel at upper left was left for local overprinting; the star slogan 'Worth working for!' ties factory output to the pictured result; the tell is the first-person 'We hit', which fuses the home-front worker with the RAF crew.
