# Bryan-Sewall 'Free Coinage' portrait handkerchief

Printed cotton handkerchief for the Democratic ticket: oval portraits of William J. Bryan of Nebraska and Arthur Sewall of Maine under an eagle, shield and flags, the legend 'Free Coinage 16 to 1 1896' with a silver dollar and a cockerel, the Capitol, and the line 'Tariff for Revenue Only'. The maker is not recorded in the Cornell catalogue.
