# Building a Bridge in Dong Binh

A Vietnamese-language sheet says the old bridge at Dong Binh hamlet was about to collapse, that the district chief called on the People's Forces for help, and that soldiers and villagers finished a new bridge in one day. Chiếc cầu củ ở ấp Đông Bình sắp đổ vỡ. Nếu không có một chiếc cầu thì ấp sẽ bị cắt làm hai. Xây cất chiếc cầu mới thật là cần thiết nhưng dân ấp Đông Bình lại không có tiền và cũng không có người khéo léo để xây cất. Quận trưởng, Thiếu tá Lê Tri Vi, kêu gọi sự giúp đỡ của các Lực Lượng Nhân Dân. Họ đáp ứng với một số người đã được huấn luyện và giúp đỡ gỗ để làm cầu. Nhờ sự khéo léo của các anh em quân đội và những bàn tay rắn chắc của đồng bào trong ấp, chiếc cầu mới được hoàn tất nội trong một ngày.
