# Buy a Part for our Jeep: Back the attack!

School bond-drive sheet showing a column of soldiers in jeeps rolling from a factory, with 'Your bond or stamp starts a jeep down the ramp'. A lower panel lists 19 jeep parts with dollar prices, to be covered by pasted-on photographs as each is paid for. The itemised prices make a bond purchase a visible share of a vehicle; the sheet is credited to the manufacturer.

INSTRUCTIONS
This poster is designed to assist your school in the forthcoming "triple-threat" Jeep war bond campaign. The cost of the Jeep illustrated below is $1165, which represents the average price of the vehicle delivered to our fighting forces on battlefields around the world. The object of this "poster game" is to pay for the various parts of the scout car individually, and thus to "send a Jeep down the ramp" for our armed forces. The parts pictured below naturally do not include the thousands of small items contained in each Jeep but they do represent the important parts. Approximate prices for 19 major parts based on the total cost of $1165 are listed below. When your school has purchased one of these parts, the chairman of your campaign committee will cut out the photo of that part from the sheet included with this poster and paste it over the blueprint drawing of the corresponding part on the poster. When all the parts are covered, your school will have paid for a Jeep in full and will be eligible for a special citation from the Treasury Department.
