# Buy a Victory Bond - A Little Each Day, Saved from Your Pay

Red, white and blue brush-stroke bands carry 'Buy a Victory Bond' with three cartoon panels: a mechanic with a wrench beside a machine holding a caricatured Hitler-like head, a moustached worker flipping a coin ('Hardly miss it!'), and the same man in an armchair 'After the war'. The tell is the ordinary worker as the model buyer (plain folks) and the caricatured enemy head in the machinery (name-calling); the sums are stated per day, 56 cents for a $100 bond.
