# Roll out the rubber: every ounce of scrap rubber is needed for our mobile forces. Get in the scrap

A red capital R drawn as a helmeted soldier with a rifle leads the headline 'Roll out the Rubber', inside a border of household rubber goods: hose, galoshes, gloves, a hot-water bottle, tyres, a toy pig and a doormat. The soldier-letter ties each household object to the armed forces (transfer), and the closing pun 'Get in the scrap' states the request.
