# They Who Buy and Salt Away Will Have Real Cash a Later Day

Four cartoon heads of men, three in service caps and one a smiling civilian, frame the verse 'They who buy and salt away will have real cash a later day'. The heads are a naval rating with an HMCS cap, a helmeted soldier with a cigarette, an air force man in a forage cap and a civilian in a hat, above a red band reading 'Buy and keep your Victory Bonds'. The tell is the mix of uniforms and a civilian face, which pairs the services' standing with an everyman buyer; no figures are given.
