# The Presidents of the United States: Lewis Cass, Democratic Candidate for 12th President (Currier), 1848

Banner print: Cass in a laurel oval at the centre, ringed by eleven oval portraits of the earlier presidents with dates, under an eagle on a globe and crossed flags and a ribbon reading 'The Presidents of the United States'. The tell is the placing of Cass among Washington to Polk, lending their standing to the candidate.
