# Những chiến sĩ anh dũng tỉnh Phước-Tuy (Defenders of Phuoc Tuy)

A blue-banner photo spread on provincial militia and army units in Phuoc Tuy province: a province chief pinning medals, troops on a tank, men receiving certificates, a loudspeaker vehicle, four captured Viet Cong prisoners and a photograph of a dead Viet Cong fighter. The captions report a Viet Cong attack beaten off on the night of 8 December 1964 and describe the Viet Cong as bloodthirsty and fighting without a just cause. The tell is the selection of decorations, captures and one corpse as the whole record of the engagement, with an epithet in the caption.
