# Democratic tickets, "Go it, ye Cripples!" and "Stop Van!!!" (Ohio electors, Van Buren and Johnson), 1836

Sheet carrying two identical Ohio Democratic tickets for Van Buren and Johnson, each with a hog-race woodcut. Left: Webster, Harrison and White trail Van Buren on pigs under 'Go it, ye Cripples!'. Right: a rider calls 'Stop VAN!!!' and is answered 'No, I'm bound to beat.' Tells: a derisive label for rivals and balloons that announce the outcome ('Van will beat', 'The People will tell').

Read from the 1,280-px scan; typeset ticket text is clear, balloon text in the vignette is small. Pig labels are partly illegible at this resolution; the printed order read here is Webster, Harrison, White, Van Buren. Both tickets list the same electors, shown once in the transcription each.
