# Silver denarius of Vespasian, reverse IVDAEA with a trophy of arms and a seated mourning woman

A Roman silver denarius of Vespasian shown front and back: the obverse has his laureate head and titles, the reverse a trophy of captured arms beside a seated, mourning woman over the word IVDAEA (Judaea). It belongs to the Judaea Capta coinage that announced the Flavian victory in the Jewish revolt.
