# Don't let this bug get you!

Bulletin-board placard: a large winged cartoon insect with bulging eyes and a grimacing mouth faces the viewer, with the word ABSENTEEISM curved across its body and the headline 'Don't let this bug get you!'. Labelling the pest with the word for missed work is the name-calling; the threat of being 'got' is the fear-appeal. Signed off 'Your Labor Management Committee'.
