# El Correo Grafico pictorial poster, rural schools (Spanish, San Jose)

A pictorial bulletin of the U.S. Embassy information service headed 'Aid of the United States of America to the rural schools of Costa Rica'. Nine photographs show the U.S. Ambassador and embassy staff visiting rural schools in several provinces to hand over books, bronze bells and band instruments, under Alliance for Progress emblems. The tell is glittering-generalities: the gifts are called a genuine expression of friendship and of the people's programme within the Alliance.
