# Emergency! Your help is needed to can the crops

Text-only recruitment notice under a U.S. flag: 'Emergency!' heads a call for men, women and older boys and girls to work in canneries at prevailing wages with the U.S. Crop Corps. The urgency framing, that crops will be lost unless canned quickly, is a mild fear-appeal, and the closing 'help feed our fighters' is a flag-and-service appeal.
