# Exposition Internationale de Phnom Penh poster (French-Khmer, Phnom Penh)

A blue poster announcing an international exposition in Phnom Penh. Flags on tall poles, among them the Cambodian flag with its temple, a row of national flags and two Olympic-ring flags, sweep along white brush strokes. The French text is set vertically at top left and the Khmer title runs across the lower middle. The tell is transfer: the flags and Olympic rings lend international standing to the exposition.

## Text on the object

Original (French; Khmer) · read from the image, not independently checked

```
CAMBODGE
EXPOSITION
INTERNATIONALE
DE PHNOM
PENH
ពិព័រណ៍អន្តរជាតិ ភ្នំពេញ
[small Khmer initials at lower left, illegible]
```

English translation (machine translation by Claude, not verified by a fluent reader)

```
CAMBODIA, International Exposition of Phnom Penh (French). International Exhibition, Phnom Penh (Khmer).
```

The French text is broken across lines in the layout (EXPO/SITION, INTER/NATIONALE). The Khmer title reading is a best effort.
