# Food Will Win the War: Member of United States Food Administration (Pledge Card)

An outline-lettered window card topped by the Food Administration shield and the words 'Member of United States Food Administration' states that the household's pledge backs soldiers and Allies and asks it to eat less bread and save wheat. The tell is membership: the signer is given a displayed badge of belonging to the war effort, with a concrete request attached.
