# Our Nation's Choice: Gen. James Abram Garfield and Gen. Chester A. Arthur (Haasis & Lubrecht)

Chromolithographed Republican ticket poster published by Haasis & Lubrecht, New York: oval portraits of Garfield and Arthur flanked by allegorical female figures and flags, the slogans 'Harmony, Peace and Prosperity' and 'Our Nation's Honor Will Be Preserved', the Republican platform adopted at Chicago in June 1880, small portraits of Washington and Lincoln under 'Devotion to the Union', and a table of presidential votes 1864 to 1876. The same publisher issued a Democratic 'Champions of the People's Rights' sheet in an almost identical layout.
