# Vietnam banners in the FDJ demonstration, 10th World Festival of Youth and Students, East Berlin

Marchers in matching dark shirts wave small flags below a long banner photograph of a smiling woman and baby and hand-lettered placards. One reads 'Wir protestieren gegen den ständigen Bruch des Pariser Abkommens', another 'VIETNAM ... Basar'; a third at the right edge begins 'Unsere Solidarität'. The mass of people and the shared placards are offered as the weight behind the protest (bandwagon).
