# Germ Warfare: Cộng-Sản Nói Dối Bị Lòi Đuôi (Communists' Lies Are Exposed) (Vietnamese poster distributed in Asia)

A photo sheet in Vietnamese answering the 1952 Communist charge that UN forces used germ weapons in Korea. Portraits of Acheson, Trygve Lie and Jacob Malik head the page, above photographs of a UN-flagged field hospital, Red Cross delegates, a prisoner being inoculated, a wounded man on a stretcher and a man spraying a shed. The captions state that the UN and Red Cross offered an investigation and that the Communists refused. The tell is testimonial and transfer: UN and Red Cross standing is attached to the US-UN side, and officials' denials stand as the rebuttal.

Communists' Lies Are Exposed

Red China and North Korea, unable to look after the health of soldiers and civilians in North Korea, blame the United Nations for using "germ bombs". On one side Jacob Malik (right), the Russian delegate, accuses the United Nations; on the other, U.S. Secretary of State Dean Acheson (left) answers at once and treats the accusation as absurd and laughable. UN Secretary-General Trygve Lie (centre) immediately issues a denial [lit. a refusal to try the charge].

The Red Cross, an organisation known to be neutral, is willing to open an investigation of the Communist accusations and gladly undertakes to treat patients regardless of the cause of their illness. All the UN figures agree to this Red Cross proposal.

But the Communists, afraid the world would learn the truth, refuse this proposal, just as they once expelled the neutral staff of the Swiss Red Cross, and also refuse the aid of the UN World Health Organization.

The world and the Communist prisoners understand that the UN and the free world always defend health and truth and do not spread disease and lies. Prisoners like this man and the wounded man in the middle picture have been cared for better than ever in their lives. All who have witnessed the U.S. and UN health work understand the truth and see that the Communists have lied outright.
