# Give 'em the stuff to fight with

A mud-streaked infantryman in a steel helmet carries a rifle and half-carries a wounded or exhausted comrade through smoke, under the headline 'Give 'em the stuff to fight with...'. The soldier's hardship is set directly beside the plea to war workers; the technique is transfer of the front-line burden onto the production effort.
