# "Believe me, guys, time is not on our side!!" Arabic leaflet V04, Gulf War

Two-sided Arabic leaflet for Iraqi soldiers in Kuwait. The front carries the line 'Believe me, guys, time is not on our side!!' beside an hourglass marked 15 January; the back reads 'Oh, my son, when will you return?' The tell is the pairing of a deadline with a mother's voice: a countdown to the UN ultimatum of 15 January 1991 and a plea from home, with no mention of terms of surrender.
