# Gen. Winfield S. Hancock and Hon. William H. English (campaign handkerchief, Hugh McCrossan)

Campaign handkerchief printed on cloth (copyright 1880 by Hugh McCrossan, per the print): oval portraits of Hancock and English under a domed 'Liberty' temple, crossed flags and star borders, with a vignette of Hancock on horseback before troops. Flags, the Liberty motif and the mounted-general vignette attach national and military prestige to the ticket.
