# The Champions of the People's Rights: Gen. Winfield Scott Hancock and William H. English

Chromolithographed Democratic ticket poster published by Haasis & Lubrecht, New York: oval portraits of Hancock and English flanked by allegorical female figures and flags, the slogans 'Economy, Honesty and Reform' and 'Prosperity and Happiness for Our People', the 1880 Democratic platform, a 'Temple of Liberty' vignette and a table of presidential votes 1864 to 1876. The same publisher issued a Republican 'Our Nation's Choice' sheet in an almost identical layout.
