# Help Our Town Win the Right to Fly This Flag: Third Liberty Loan Honor Roll

A white-and-red flag with three blue stripes fills the upper half of the sheet above a headline asking townspeople to win the right to fly it, and a line that 'the people of Our Town' are helping win the war by buying Third Liberty Loan bonds. The tell is the local-pride mechanism: community standing and a public badge are tied to every household's purchase, with 'Our Town' left blank for local overprint.
