# Here's how to head off runaway prices: Follow the 7-key plan to hold prices down

Home-front poster: a smiling woman in a hat holds grocery bags and a War Ration Book No. 3 beside a newspaper headed 'OPA top legal prices'. Seven keys spell V-I-C-T-O-R-Y, each carrying a household instruction such as buying war bonds, paying taxes and following ration rules. The acrostic and smiling shopper tie ordinary thrift to victory.
