# Heroic Fighters of Phuoc Tuy photo poster (Vietnamese poster distributed in Saigon)

A Vietnamese photo poster headed 'Heroic fighters, Phuoc-Tuy province'. Photographs show a province chief pinning medals on militiamen, men on a tank, soldiers lined up with certificates, four captured guerrillas, and a dead man, after a 8 December 1964 attack on Dat-Do district. The tell is transfer: honour ceremonies and a caption that the dead man 'fought without just cause' attach legitimacy to the government side and withhold it from the other.
