# Hit the Bull's Eye! Are You on This List? Get Your Name in the Circle: It's the Ring of Liberty

A target of concentric rings holds columns of printed names headed by service branches (Army, National Guard of New York, Navy, Naval Reserve, Marine Corps, Naval Militia), beneath an eagle and above photographs of marching and drilling men and lists of recruiting stations. The tell of bandwagon is the published roll itself: enlistment is presented as joining a visible, growing list of neighbours, with the viewer invited to put his own name in the circle.

The columns of names, the station addresses and the photograph credits are too small to read even in the larger scan and are marked as such. The street number in the imprint (280) and the bulletin number (5) are read from small print and are slightly uncertain. 'W.C.W.' at the lower right corner is read as initials.
