To express thanks to the friendly Allied countries that have given aid to the Republic of Vietnam to fight Communist aggression and defend freedom, Binh Dinh province held International Assistance Day with great solemnity.

On this occasion Colonel Nguyen Van Hieu, commander of the 22nd Infantry Division and the 22nd Tactical Zone, pinned medals on meritorious Allied soldiers.

The people and the military, cadre and civil officials of Binh Dinh province came in very large numbers to attend International Assistance Day.
