# Coalition leaflet "Do not stop or dig on this road" (NDIQ-006, Iraq, 2007)

Arabic leaflet from the Iraqi insurgency period, 2007. The front warns the reader not to engage in activities that put them under suspicion and not to stop or dig on the road; the back says criminals plant improvised explosive devices by the roadside, which endanger the reader's family and neighbours, and tells readers to report criminal activity to local or military police. The tell is the dual message: a safety warning and an instruction to avoid roadsides, which also frames anyone seen digging as a suspect.
