# It may not be enough

Text-only poster from the Office of Price Administration: white lettering on dark blue inside a ruled border, with a script headline followed by a message from OPA volunteers about fair shares of scarce goods at a fair price. It asks for patience and teamwork. The technique is faint: volunteers speak as fellow citizens (plain-folks) and close on 'teamwork counts'.

## Text on the object

Original (English) · read from the image, not independently checked

```
It may not be enough
but we are doing our best.
Most of us are unpaid
volunteers.
As fellow citizens we
are here to help you get
your fair share of scarce
commodities at a fair
price.
Your patience. . .your
understanding. . .will help
make it easier for us to
serve you better.
In war, even more than
in peace, teamwork counts.
Let's work together!
